Bespoke DesignsConsultation and site survey for cast stone featuresThe Procter Cast Stone approach is very much to work closely with our clients to ensure the end result is perfect and on time. This process would normally start with consultation, where we can advise on every possible technical and aesthetic aspect of cast stone features. On renovation projects, we would normally conduct a detailed site survey at a very early stage in order to take exact dimensions, match colours precisely, and discuss the build program to ensure all the cast stone items can be delivered to site at the correct time. From architects drawings or our own design facilityBespoke cast stone features can be manufactured from architects drawings or we are able to design them using own in-house CAD facility. If we design the features, they can be incorporated into final architects' drawings. Creating colours to match existing stone featuresThere are many advantages of using cast stone on renovation projects over real stone, and these include cost and durability. However, being able to match the colour of existing stone is especially important and this is something we're able to do for all bespoke cast stone architectural features. Our ability to accurately match the colour of existing stonework is so good and the finish of the bespoke cast stone feature so authentic, that the end result is virtually indistinguishable from the existing stone.
Manufacture of bespoke cast stone featuresWith design agreed, the next stage involves our highly skilled craftsman producing timber moulds. These moulds are created to engineering dimensions, and the skill and care that gose into them is reflected in the superb finished cast stone feature. Once a mould is complete, checked and ready for use, the manufacturing process for the cast stone feature commences. This process is carefully controlled and monitored to ensure the colour is correct and consistent, and the finish of the item superb. Delivery to site and on-going supportThe need for agreed delivery dates to be adhered to is obviously very important, and this is something we always stick to. Once the cast stone features are on site, we continue to give support and advice to ensure the end result entirely meets the expectation of our customer. Contact us directly for your Cast Stone Enquiry so we can get straight back to you to discuss your requirements and provide a proposal.
