Technical Properties

• Reinforcement :- Reinforcement is in accordance with BS 4449 and at the specifier's request all stainless steel reinforcement and fittings may be incorporated
• Cement :- Cement used in manufacture conforms to BS 12 :1996
• Pigments :- Pigments used in manufacture conform to BS 1014:1992
• Aggregates :- Aggregates used in manufacture conform to BS 882:1992
• Admixtures :- Aggregates used in manufacture conform to BS 5075.
• Mix Strength :- All mixes conform to or exceed the requirements of BS1217:1997. Typical cube strength when tested to BS1881:Part 16 is not less than 35N/mm2. Regular independent cube tests are carried out. Test certificates can be provided.
• Weathering :- All products conform to the CAT (Capillary Absorption Test) as specified in BS1217:1997
• Drying Shrinkage :- When tested in accordance with BS6073 Part 1 1981 drying shrinkage is less than 0.06%.
• Thermal Conductivity :- When requested by the customer, the manufacturer / supplier shall declare the thermal resistance of the units. The value shall be established either by testing or from recognized tables.
