Procter Concrete Products of Leeds has recently invested £0.5million in new machinery to meet the increasing demand for its concrete posts for use with timber fencing systems. Compared with timber and plastic posts, the concrete products are stronger, will not warp, twist or rot, and never need maintaining. To complement the posts, Procter also supplies concrete gravel boards that offer the same advantages over timber gravel boards.

SLOTTED POSTS

Slotted posts for timber panel fencing are steel-reinforced H-section posts that hold the panels securely in place, thereby protecting the fence against wind and storm damage. They are installed in the same way as timber posts, making them suitable for either DIY or professional installations. Posts are available for fences heights from 0.9m to 2.1m.

GRAVEL BOARDS

Procter's concrete gravel boards come in two sizes: 150mm or 300mm high. These will never rot and are ideal for use with concrete posts and timber panel fencing. Alternatively, concrete gravel boards can be used on their own for edging paths, patios, flower borders or raised beds.

REBATED POSTS FOR CLOSE BOARDED AND HERRING BONE FENCING Procters offer posts and gravel boards to meet the requirements of BS 1722 part 5 to suit fence heights from 1m to 1.8m; these can be used to support close boarded, herring bone and other purpose-designed timber fences.

UNIVERSAL POSTS Universal posts can be used for a wide variety of light timber fences supported on horizontal rails to suit fence heights from1m to 2.1m.

HEAVY-DUTY POSTS Holed three times for timber rails, these posts are a versatile option for supporting a range of timber fences of all types and in all locations to suit fence heights from 0.9m to 1.8m.

COLOURED CONCRETE POSTS All Procter concrete posts for timber fencing systems are available in coloured concrete (in a choice of brown, buff or green) to complement the timber fencing. Procter has a tradition of excellence and craftsmanship in concrete fencing that dates back over 50 years, though many of the design and manufacturing processes used are truly state-of-the-art. Procter looks to develop long-term relationships with customers by delivering high-quality products and reliable personal service.
